Awareness Through Movement
Awareness Through Movement, the group class format of Feldenkrais Method, is appropriate for both those looking to improve performance in any area and those with an injury, chronic pain or other conditions. In Awareness Through Movement classes, the teacher verbally guides you through a sequence of movements intended to help you develop a greater awareness of how you move and to guide you to find new and more efficient patterns of movement. Learn to improve posture and movement by becoming aware of how you are unconsciously getting in your own way. Reduce or eliminate aches and pains by addressing the habits of movement that caused them in the first place. The class will teach you to feel longer, stronger, and more balanced.
