Shifting gears from feeling “all stirred up” to feeling grounded and focused can be incredibly challenging. This is in part because a defining characteristic of being in that state is usually not being fully aware of how “activiated” we are, or not feeling access to the path out of the feeling.
In this series of movement lessons we will explore and refine our movement transitions — rolling over, lying to sitting, sitting to standing, etc. As we explore transitioning through space, we’ll track the parallel transitions in our inner-space. In this way, we’ll find new landmarks which lead us on the path both to more refined movement and to feeling grounded, focused and safe.
