Dan Rindler, Somatic Experiencing and Feldenkrais Practitioner

Dan Rindler, MM, GCFP

Dan Rindler is an experienced Feldenkrais® and Child’Space practitioner, and a music teacher with over 20 years of experience of working with young children. He has a B.S. in Music Ed. from NYU and a M.M. in Early Music from Indiana University, Bloomington.

Dan is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner (’06) and a Child’Space Method Trainer, having studied with the method’s originator, Dr. Chava Shelhav a former assistant to Dr. Feldenkrais. Dan is currently co-teaching the first NYC Child’Space professional training, while continuing to work as a teaching assistant to Dr. Shelhav in her Chicago training. He has worked as a staff member at the Feldenkrais Institute of NYC, and is currently in private practice in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.  His early background is in music and music education and he received his certification in the Kodály Method of music education from NYU in 1995 and later returned to the Kodály Institute at NYU as an adjunct professor.  Child’Space NYC was created to synthesize Dan’s interest in somatic education, development, and music.
